How every draw works
Nobody picks the winner, including the team. Each step leaves a public record.
- Every 7 minutes the glass locks. A wallet's entries come from its lowest balance over the past 10 minutes: 100,000 tokens is 1 entry, and every 100,000 after that adds 1 more.
- The pool, launchpad contracts, prize wallet and team wallets are left out of the glass.
- The entry list is sorted by wallet address and its fingerprint (the snapshot hash) is posted before the random number exists.
- Locking the glass also picks a drand beacon round at least 10 seconds in the future. drand is a public randomness service run by independent organizations, so nobody, including the team, can know that number in advance. When it publishes, its signature is checked on chain.
- Winning ticket = drand randomness mod total entries. Each wallet owns a block of ticket numbers the size of its entries, so the ticket points to exactly one wallet.
- The whole pot is sent to that wallet in cbBTC automatically, and the transaction is linked on this page.
